The London side, fresh off a 4-2 win against Gent in their opening group game, once again showed their offensive power under the guidance of Enzo Maresca.

The game began with Panathinaikos pressing for an early lead, but Chelsea’s goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen made a crucial reflex save to keep the scores level, denying Tin Jedvaj’s effort.

Chelsea took control in the 22nd minute when Mykhailo Mudryk set up Felix, delivering a precise ball from the left for the Portuguese forward to calmly slot home.

Despite some resistance from Panathinaikos, the Blues held their advantage going into halftime.

In the second half, Chelsea quickly extended their lead. Mudryk, involved once again, headed in Pedro Neto’s well-placed cross to make it 2-0.

Just minutes later, Felix struck again after receiving a pass from Mudryk, his shot taking a deflection before finding the bottom-left corner of the net.

Christopher Nkunku wrapped up the win with a penalty in the 68th minute after Daniel Mancini handled a cross from Felix.

Though Panathinaikos managed a late consolation goal through Facundo Pellistri, it was not enough to challenge Chelsea’s dominance.

Chelsea’s Winger, Mykhailo Mudryk was voted the player of the match after his brilliant performance against Panathinaikos.

The Ukrainian player who hasn’t had first team opportunities, made a statement as he registered 2 assists and netted one goal.
