Governor Shakes Up Kebbi Bureaucracy with Key Appointments

Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has moved to bolster his administration’s workforce with a new round of high-level appointments, naming two new permanent secretaries and several general managers.

The announcement, made via the office of the Head of Service, stated the move is intended to “strengthen the civil service, improving effective service delivery, and ensuring good governance in the state.”

The newly appointed permanent secretaries are Kabir Adamu and Musa Hassan Arugungu. Key managerial posts were also filled, including Mustapha Malami as General Manager of the Kebbi Geographical Information System, and Dr. Tijjani Ahmad as Programme Manager of the Kebbi State Fadama Development Project II.

The directive mandates all appointees to assume their duties immediately, with an official charge urging them to demonstrate diligence, dedication, and commitment in their new roles.
