Each Of Them Went Home With 30 Million Naira Each On January 13th —According to Adegoke On Lagos Assembly Members

 

Niniola Adegoke, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs and Special Duties, made accusations about the contentious vote of confidence that the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly approved in a recent interview with News Central TV. Adegoke claims that on January 13, 2025, each lawmaker received N30 million in exchange for their support, which was primarily focused on approving Mojisola Meranda.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

At some point during the interview, Adegoke stated that, “the reason why they passed vote of confidence on Mojisola Meranda is because of their belly. It was their belly that decided their direction. I am telling you for free. Those people don’t really mean their vote of confidence.

He went on to further say that, “anybody that based his or her relationship with whosoever is on that seat, such person doesn’t have integrity. None of them can come out and tell me that they didn’t collect money. Each of them went home with 30 million naira each on January 13th. Let them come and tell Lagosians that they didn’t receive any Kobo before they did what they did on January 13th. Let us be honest with ourselves, DSS did not invade the state House of Assembly.
