Maria Dogo, No Amount Of Defections Can Save The APC-led Govt From Its Imminent Exit In 2027

According to a report by Premium Times, Dogo, in a statement released on Sunday, stated that these defections would not prevent the APC-led government from being defeated in the 2027 elections.

She, however, highlighted the PDP’s strong support during the last local government council elections, where she claimed that the electorate resisted APC’s alleged imposition of candidates.

According to her, this resulted in the APC’s shameless declaration of victory for individuals who couldn’t even vote for themselves.

Dogo further stated that the people of Kaduna are eager to return to the PDP era, a period she described as one of economic stability when citizens could afford basic necessities.

She maintained that regardless of the number of defections, the APC-led government’s departure in 2027 remains inevitable.

While reaffirming the party’s commitment to democracy, she emphasized that under the leadership of Edward Masha, the state chairman, the PDP will continue to uphold democratic principles and ensure that the voices of the people are heard.

“The truth is, our people are yearning for a return to the PDP years when the economy thrived and citizens could afford their basic needs,” she said. “No amount of defections can save the APC-led government from its imminent exit in 2027,” she added.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
