However, on one unforgettable evening, his father walked into his room, pulled away his blanket, and discovered him holding the Bible.
To his surprise, his father remained silent that night. The following morning, however, he was dragged into a car and taken to the mosque for prayers. His family insisted, “You must go there.” But Suleman stood firm, declaring defiantly, “I don’t want to go! I’m a Christian! I’m a Christian!” A bystander tried to persuade him, saying, “Just pretend to pray; God sees the heart.” Despite this advice, Suleman refused to compromise.
At the mosque, while everyone bowed in prayer, he remained standing, steadfast in his convictions. As his father tugged at his trousers, urging him to kneel, Suleman stayed resolute, praying silently and shaking his head. His unwavering stance drew whispers from the congregation.
Upon returning home, he faced severe punishment, but that marked the final time his family attempted to force him to attend the mosque. Reflecting on the experience, Suleman emphasized, “That’s what courage does!
