Osakweogo, a resident of 58 Kirikiri Road, Olodi Apapa, Lagos, left her home on January 25, 2025, for the interview. However, she has not returned or been in contact with her family since then.
According to her sister, Obianuju Osakweogo, Nkiru’s phone has been switched off, and she has not been online. This is unusual for Nkiru, who has never been out of contact for this long.
Obianuju revealed that Nkiru had informed their other sister about the job interview but didn’t disclose the location. Later, Nkiru sent a message saying she got the job and would be staying in staff accommodation provided by the company.
Nkiru also mentioned that the network in the area was poor, which is why she hadn’t been in touch. However, her family is worried about her safety and well-being.
The family has reported the matter to the police, but they were told that without an address, there was little they could do. The family is now seeking help from the public.
