“I went to church, leaving my three kids at home. Their bodies were what I saw when I returned. The tragic tale of Madam Chikazor Ogochukwu Ejezie, who lost all three of her children in Nnewi, Anambra State, on the same day, is told by BBC Pidgin.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to reports, she had left the children at home to take an exam in the Ihiala area of the state. However, when she returned, she could not find any of them, and the house was open. The only boy among them was three years old, while the two girls were seven and nine years old, respectively.

She explained that she initially stayed at home, expecting them to return after playing, but as evening approached and they were still nowhere to be found, fear gripped her, prompting her to raise an alarm.

“I reached out to my husband’s friend’s wife, whose children usually go to church with mine, but she said her own kids didn’t attend catechism that day. I asked her whether my children were at her house, and she said no,” she recounted.

She added, “One of my neighbors told me that he saw two young men come into my compound earlier in the day. He also saw my daughter step out to buy something and then return home.”

After that, they began searching everywhere for the children but could not find them. It was later that they discovered the dead children inside the freezer in their house.

The father of the children, Samuel Ejezie, told reporters that his wife had gone to take an exam at Our Lady of Lourdes in Ihiala. When she returned around noon, none of the children were in sight.

He said, “Normally, when my wife comes back, the kids would run out to hug her and welcome her, but that day, when she returned, everywhere was open, and their shoes were scattered all over.”

He added that only his family and the landlord’s mother lived in the compound, but the woman was not at home when the incident occurred.

“Other people living in the compound are nursing students, but I am sure they have nothing to do with this because I have no issues with them,” he said.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
