Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh has announced her reconciliation with former husband Olakunle Churchill, bringing an end to nearly a decade of public disputes.
The couple, who married in 2015, separated less than two years later amid allegations of infidelity, bitter custody battles, and widespread media scrutiny. In an emotional Facebook post, Tonto credited the reunion to divine intervention, humility, and persistent prayers, highlighting that what human effort could not repair was restored through faith.
Describing the reconciliation as a divine restoration, she said peace has now replaced years of bitterness, chaos, and broken communication. The renewed relationship, Tonto said, is anchored in humility, forgiveness, and love for their child. She encouraged others facing similar struggles to remain hopeful.
“We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing. After ten years of public battles, deep wounds, and broken communication, God stepped in. What seemed impossible has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos, and love has found its voice again for my child,” she wrote.
Tonto also expressed gratitude to Churchill for yielding to God’s guidance and choosing peace, noting that obedience to God brings restoration even after long, painful journeys. She urged anyone feeling tired, wounded, or hopeless to trust God, keep praying, and choose love, emphasizing that God never abandons what He starts.
The actress concluded by praying that their renewed relationship remains built on God’s mercy, grace, and protection, standing as a testament to divine intervention and the power of faith, forgiveness, and humility.
