Popular content creator Kolu has stirred reactions online after publicly appealing to fellow entertainer Carter Efe for a ₦7 million loan to help secure the release of controversial singer Portable from prison.
The emotional request surfaced during a live Twitch session on Thursday, where Kolu openly explained why Portable’s situation mattered deeply to him. When Carter Efe questioned his sudden concern, Kolu credited the singer for changing his life.
Speaking in raw Pidgin, Kolu revealed that Portable was responsible for bringing him to Lagos and giving him the exposure that launched his rise to fame. “Portable bring me Lagos, I come blow. Na him help my life,” he said, clearly moved.
