Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has once again broken records with her 2025 cinema release, Behind The Scenes, which has grossed N2.1 billion in just a month.
Announcing the milestone on Instagram, Funke described the achievement as “God in motion”, emphasizing that records are merely milestones, not the mission. She credited her success to hard work, dedication, and divine favor, while sharing lessons for fellow creatives:
“Serve the story, respect the audience, refine the craft, and let the work earn its applause.”
This latest feat surpasses her previous record with Everybody Loves Jenifa (N1.6 billion) and highlights her continued dominance at the box office.
