Nollywood Stars Gather to Honour Late Actress Allwell Ademola at Service of Songs

Leading Nollywood stars came together on Thursday to pay tribute to the late actress and producer, Allwell Ademola, during a prayer session and Service of Songs.

The event took place from 4 pm to 6 pm, followed by a candlelight procession from 6 pm to 7 pm, which started at LTV 8, moved to Oregun Junction, and returned to LTV. Attendees participated in prayers, tributes, and reflective moments as they remembered the actress’s life and contributions to Nollywood.

Notable personalities in attendance included Afeez Abiodun, Rotimi Salami, Kunle Afod, Odunlade Adekola, Saheed Balogun, Bolaji Amusan, Abiola Adebayo, Iyabo Ojo, Fausat Balogun, Eniola Ajao, and Fathia Balogun.

Rotimi Salami, one of Ademola’s closest colleagues, spoke at the event, asking for forgiveness on her behalf and encouraging prayers for her soul. He also called on industry colleagues to remain united and to preserve the legacy and impact Ademola left in Nollywood

The event concluded with plans for an Artistes’ Night later in the evening, with final remarks expected by 11 pm. The burial ceremony is scheduled for Friday at Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos State. Allwell Ademola passed away on December 27, 2025, after suffering a heart attack at her home.
