Experience:

A minimum of five years of experience at national or international levels in programme/project planning and monitoring required; with significant experience in data dissemination/interpretation and data analysis in the sectors of concern to UNICEF and knowledge of new technical developments and software in data dissemination; and some experience in other areas of applied statistics.
Professional technical expertise in data analysis and dissemination specifically related to UNICEF related indicators.
Well-developed computer skills including proficiency in data dissemination software (e.g. Devinfo).
Proficiency in displaying data for use by government policy makers, partner organizations and general public.
Developing country work experience is required.
Exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience at national level in the relevant field of civil engineering, especially in preparation of construction technical documentation.
Experience of working in complex environments and large infrastructure and/or civil works, particularly in the field of construction technical project documentation development as well as construction supervision.
Working experience in the area of preparation, implementation and monitoring of technical/ (re)construction projects; methodological and calculation skills.
Experience in technical design of high-rise structure is an asset.
Knowledge of the UN rules, procedures and regulations would be an asset.
Working experience in UN or other international development organization would be an asset.
Background/familiarity with an emergency would be an asset.
Familiarity with north-east Nigeria is a strong asset.
Knowledge and experience in the usage of construction related software.
Good computer skills including word processing, power-point and spreadsheet.
Language Requirements:

Excellent written and spoken English required.

8.) Health Specialist (Social and Behavioral Change Communication SBC)
Location: Abuja

Requirements
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have

An Advanced University Degree in Social and Behavioral Change Communication, Public Health, or other Social / Behavioral Sciences or Community Health area (Health promotion, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Health Education, bio-medical sciences, public health) or related area, with emphasis on participatory communication, communication planning, social mobilization, participatory research.
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible work experience in public or community health and Social and Behavioral Change Communication, the planning and management of social communication programs, including in immunization/polio. Background in public health and strong management skills would be highly considered.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is of added value.
