Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is currently in custody. Aloy Ejimakor, special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, has denounced the treatment Igbos have received in Lagos.
In a recent article, the New York Times reported that the United States Department of State is preparing to send a delegation to the United Nations General Assembly in September.
Speaking via Twitter, he wondered the reason Kenyans did not take over America when Barrack Obama became president.
He wrote, “Obama, a Kenyan became US President; Kenyans didn’t takeover US. Sunak, an Indian is UK PM; Indians didn’t takeover UK. But if Gbadebo, a Yoruba wins Lagos guber, Igbos will takeover Lagos because he’s married to an Igbo. So, you want Igbos to leave Lagos.

Speaking further, he opined that Ndigbo will also leave Lagos if a seaport is built in the Southeast and Nigeria is returned to regional autonomy
He wrote, “If you want to expel Igbos from Lagos, do this: Organize referendum on Biafra. Once it’s carried, you will see a voluntary & happy stampede out of Lagos. Or, you build a seaport in Southeast & return Nigeria to regional autonomy as a means to Biafra. Do this & thank me later.
